done with a prisoner after the Governor has signed a Deportation Warrant or a Conditional Pardon. I have the honour

ask for, that is Lord barnarvon's despatch No 51 of 18th May 1877 and Sir 9 Arthur Kennedy's no 214 of 18th December 1876.
